For this litter I was looking closeby for males. I knew that Visa had a history of small litters (a
singleton, and two pups), so I knew I didn't want to ship her far incase the breeding did not take. I
pretty much knew who my options were, and thought about it a great deal. Tabu was not an easy
choice at first; I wasn't sure that, coupled with Visa's drive and intensity, they would produce
puppies that the average pet home would be able to handle. As luck would have it, I had several
working homes inquire for puppies, and after considering this linebreeding (on Kazon's
Dreamweaver Shadow, out of the great Am Ch Nobel V. Siegestor, CD,WH,TD,AD,B,SCH III, IPO I,
HIC, SAR) I decided to go ahead with it, and I'm so glad I did!
Three puppies were born on Feb 27th, 2010. Unfortunatly the first, a tiny female, was stillborn. I
ended up with a male (named Whipaw) and a female (named Tala).

Tabu is a social, outgoing, macho male, with lots of attitude.
He LOVES to show, and he loves being the centre of
attention. He is very sound and great with people. Though he
likes to be "top dog," I would often catch him playing with my
young male -- he does have a soft spot!
Pictured below on the left is Tabu's Group win at Tradex, the
largest show in Canada. As you can see, when he took his
huge win, he was a young male and out of coat. Tabu has
taken several other group placements with limited showing,
and was the #4 Belgian (of all varieties) in Canada in 2006.
Tabu is seizure free, has a scissors bite and full dentition, is
CERF clear as of 2009 (unsubmitted, paperwork is available
to be shown by breeder), and his hips are OFA Good
(BSD-3229G24M-PI), and elbows are OFA normal
(BSD-EL975M24-PI). So far he has not produced seizures in
any of his offspring, or any other known health problems.
